Solar panels are wonderfully undemanding — but they’re not entirely hands-off. On a tropical island, salt haze, dust, leaves and the occasional gecko all quietly nibble at output. Panels installed at a shallow angle (typically below 15°) may benefit from an annual cleaning to remove dust and debris, helping to maintain peak performance. A little regular attention keeps the numbers where they should be.
